Why all the references to Exupnut and squirrels....I'm sure I must have missed something

200 yards to me for a rabbit is shooting for fun and not for the pot. The calibre of rifle might have been .222 ( although the .17 is close to .222 ) but I would guess .22-50 or greater. Not what I would call clever, if you want to test your sights or range prowess, use a target.
The worst thing you have done is put it on here, no wonder shooting gets bad press.
If its not your vid then sorry to you, but not for putting it up !

not sure i'd eat squirrel but yum to the rabbit
-
How stupid was that rabbit not wearin a helmet.
-
I shoot lots of them rabbits , i do rabbit control on 3 golf courses and loads of farms, i rarely waste one either, they all go to food for my dog and the odd customer for the table, its a great sport summer or winter.
I don't know if its the economic climate but more people seem to be asking for them to eat as they are cheaper than any supermarket food.
As for the squirrel , well my dog Bruce eats them on the spot,no problem.

After an... unfortunate... haircut, the LoFos started calling him Squirrel Head. It seems to have been reduced to just "squirrel". Every forum needs a squirrel, Exup's the One! :lol :lol :lol

I was talking to a lad today and he was saying a butcher he goes to, will buy squirrels of him for a fiver a time as long as it is a head shot, and only greys no reds, very tasty and has a market for them.???

At the South west country show you can try eating Badger, there is a road kill group who collect everything, they are cooking Badger,Venison,Pheasant and anything on a wood fire and offering it out,,,their stew looked pretty gruesome,,i did not oblige though.
