In June last year one of our members was attacked at work leaving him with life changing injuries and unable to ever ride a motorbike again (or possibly even work again) though he still polishes his FZS600 semi-regularly. In an effort to repay the people who helped him following that attack, he is doing a 75 mile bike ride on the back of a tandem to raise some money.

Dig deep and sponsor him please.

FZ6 / Fazer / Is it worth replacing the FZ6 OEM Forks with R6 Forks?

If you find that the OEM FZ6 forks are a bit soft and don't give much feedback or control in the bends, here's a video that someone posted on YouTube when they upgraded the OEM FZ6 forks with R6 ones.

For some reason the Forum software doesn't work with YouTube links, so take the spaces out of the above line for the link  :rolleyes

Just back from Brighton. Today was the Historic Commercial Vehicle run from London to Brighton. The starting point this year was Brooklands, no doubt due to Kahn’s ULEZ. The route went via Ryka’s Cafe on the A24, which made for a good spectating place, bagging a good spot at 08:15. It took a good 2 hours for the entrants to make their way past, before jumping on the Fazer, and heading for The Chalet at Cowfold for breakfast. There was a wait for food, which I expected as it is cooked to order.

After a chill in the sun, I enjoyed my normal B road route over the South Downs, before finding a parking spot quite near where the trucks and buses etc were being displayed. A quick lap of all the vehicles was a bit of an effort in bike gear as the sun was certainly out to play, then back on the bike and home via the Ashdown Forest for an ice cream. Just about to catch up on today’s MotoGP and yesterday’s NW200 super bike race.

I recently got refused entry to a building for just trying to walk in while carrying it.

WTF? Did they think you were going to use it as a weapon or something...?!
