Glad you got it sorted without having to take the engine/head out.
Chris
Nasty, its one of the awkward ones as well... cylinder 2 is an absolute b!t*h compared to the others...
Best bet is a decent stud remover - with the radiator off (and maybe the forks + front wheel) you may be able to get to it. Otherwise its either engine out or head off...
I'd help out, as I had to do this myself earlier this year but I'm nowhere near you
I'm in Nottingham and will also be looking to borrow somebody's balancer as soon as I get around to replacing my exhaust.
£57 sounds like a bargain and all, but not for something you only use once...

Well i just wanted to order them I've never been the one who can wait around.
I'm sure they are worst brake pads out there!
Yeah but asking a question then ordering with hardly any responses an hour later is a little bit hasty isn't it. It was a Saturday night, you wouldn't have got them any quicker if you'd have waited 36 hours for replies!
Or at least wait for me to get home from the pub, sorry, i meant church!
I just put SBS ceramic pads on the rear, which seem to work rather nicely, and i've been using Galfer pads on the front which have also served me very well, and are very reasonably priced on Fleabay, but i want to try SBS on the front next time as they also seem to have a very high reputation.
