Exup cables
« on: 08 June 2014, 01:19:39 am »
The time seems to have finally arrived :( while servicing the Exup a few days back I noticed the pull cable was frayed. I would say about a 1/3 worn away.
Anyone found a good place to get them yet that isn't going to take triple didgets?

Wemoto do them for £54 a pair I think. I haven't looked at the exup cables, whats so special about them that demands a higher than normal price?

I've got the WeMoto SlinkyGlide cables and I've done a good 10k on them now. The only criticism is that the adjusters have a fine layer of rust on them, so give them a spray with WD40. Apart from that, they're good. And a hundred less than OE.
