speedo down
« on: 24 January 2014, 12:16:46 am »
Speedo seems to have died :(
Not had a chance to have a good poke around yet but did check the connection blocks behind the screen. All look fine, but cleaned them best I could anyway.
Fault is no speedo and the clock resets each time ignition is off.
Fully charged battery and It's in good condition. That's as far as I have got so far.

I have a speedo healer fitted, due to gearing change.
Also a acumen gear indicator. (Make no change when unplugged. Lights up but as it runs partly from speedo not working)
So what blocks to check next?
Think there was one under the right side panel, any more?

I think there's a large connector or two under the left insert which you should check next, then work back from there.

Good luck. :)

Ahh left insert, I knew there was a block somewhere that has caused problems like this. Didn't get time to look today
Kinda scary riding without the speedo and going through a speed trap :P
