Hello from Kent
« on: 09 April 2016, 09:21:09 am »
Hi  I recently brought a 2004 Fazer 1000 to use to commute 50 miles per day to work and do the odd track day on.
I used to commute years ago on a 1999 Fazer 600 and it still sticks in my mind as one of my favorite bikes ive had ,Not the best but good at everything so im hoping the 1000 is more of the same.
So far im very impressed with the engine but am finding the suspension lets the bike down so looking at various upgrades.
I might go the R6 shock route or blow my money on a new shock as im a bit above average weight ie fat b*stard.

Hi I had no intention of buying a original shock I was looking at a Hyperpro one .Ive just fitted some doglegs that raise the back 25mm which make the bike feel a lot better before it was dragging its arse like a dog with worms .
