Brilliant, this reminds me of an occasion quite a few years ago.
I went for a jog around the lake near where I live.
I knew there were sheep in there but didn't really pay that much attention to them.
After a few laps I sat down on a fallen tree to have a drink when all of a sudden I became aware of about 7 to 9 of these so called sheep moving towards me. It wasn't till they kept coming right up to me I realized they were rams.
There was an obvious hierarchy to them with the largest leading the way.
Let me tell you, they started to make me feel a little bit uneasy.
I got up to leave and they all followed me with our pace getting quicker and quicker.
Suddenly one of the back markers made a charge for me so I turned to face it. As it got level with the head honcho, I remember hearing a distinct noise like wood hitting wood as the head honcho butted it for trying to overtake him.
Three times they tried charging me and only stopped when I turned to face them and stood my ground.
Probably only had about 3 to 400 yards to the Gate but that was one of the longest walks of my life.
I am in no doubt that had the head honcho's attention not been diverted by the ram that kept on trying to overtake him, I would have got well and truly butted.
