I remember a few years ago, one broke down outside my shop. Had a chat with the driver and it turned out there was so much electronic equipment in there it was constantly flattening the battery.

Talking of vasectomies, many years ago my wife booked mine for me. The first time I met the surgeon was in the corridor on the way down and he said " I must just check that you do know why you're here?" lol

Then several years later I was on a job in a house. As I was crouching down looking at a lock, the householder asked me if I had a vasectomy?

Its a lot more than just horsepower figures to the MT buzz.

On the road the only time my old FZ1 was quicker than my MT9 was in a straight line once you get over 100mph.

Much prefer the MT and I really did love the FZ

Can an FZ1 do this !

Bought mine in 2014. I have spent money on suspension and an EJK fuel controller. Now is an absolutely stonking machine. So light and flickable and as Lew said, wind the throttle and hang on!


I too came from an FZ1 which is just so heavy in comparison.


The new 2017 model has much better looks (IMHO) and different (better) suspension and fuelling so you probably won't need to spend more on that.


If looking for a used bike, I seriously would look for a sorted one and pay a couple of quid over the odds. If buying a std bike I would want it cheap!

You have to tell it you love it, cuddle it and never ever even glance at a newer shinier bike, especially if it has a bigger engine.

Theres no mention who or why they have 62 points. Could well be the owner of a fleet taking the points who didn't commit an actual driving offence themselves.

As a lay-man, I would think a blocked breather would cause the tank to gain a negative pressure so that when you open the filler cap a loud hiss of air rushing in would be apparent. Is that the case?
