The comfort isn’t bad but it could benefit from the ‘comfort’ seat that’s available, for all day riding. The ride is pretty good but then I’ve been used to stiff sports bike suspension so it’s bound to feel plush. Handles alright though.
As for the spoked/tubed wheels, there’s a lot of people who moan about them but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve been riding for 30 years and only ever had one puncture so can’t see I’d be fixing it by the roadside. I’ve got breakdown cover anyway
It is possible to de-tube them but is quite a bit of work. The Pure comes with cast wheels though.
There’s not really anything I don’t like about it, maybe just the long throttle action but I’ve got a quick action device to fit when I get chance. The nice thing about them is that there’s loads of customisation options out there to make it unique easily, although they attract lots of attention in standard trim.
