Winter Hacks

Spotted this today, thought it might be of interest to a few people. Pitted our beloved Fazer 600 against a VFR800 and a ZX-9R as a winter hack for £1500

Bloody hell, not sure I'd want a ZX9R for a winter bike when it's cold and slippery out, they hit about 140rwhp with a decent slipon alone!

Can understand what they mean about being too good as well - must admit if I could afford it I'd probably keep my FZS 600 as a winter bike/commuter and then have my ZX9R for long distance riding and Sunday blasts!

I know what you mean, got a mint 600 bandit now for my winter hack, not the best of bikes to survive a salty winter commute.
It's got 10k less than my fz1 that I tuck away for the winter. Wouldn't mind another fzs600 though for commuting.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

This is my winter hack.... Bought her off of a local FB site for a criminally insane low price, got her on the road for the cost of £21 and a couple of days work (It helps if your a bike mechanic!) but it is so good I plan to ride it through the winter and then give her a full make over in the spring and keep it. I love FJ1200's, oodles of power and all delivered through a silky smooth gearbox.
