Wow!! this shows hot spots / black spots...

as Speed Camera's are meant to be related to road safety it would be interesting it they published this with an overlay of where they were installed and colour coded it by year to see if they did actually reduce deaths!

maybe its because I'm more a rugby fan but i dont ever recall seeing a fight between rival fans at a rugby match,
(in fact only fights i've seen were at the Army Vs Navy game between groups of squaddies, the navy just stood n cheered!), And there is some great rivally between rugby fans,,, oh and yes rugby songs are (were) generally rude but not insulting

Fergwad, where you travelling to & from? I travel from Waterlooville to Hook, must admit that after only just getting back into biking after 12 years off I tend to be a fair weather biker but if weather is really bad and you live not to far out dont mind offering the odd lift if it helps you out of a spot!

Bin's, not really a priority compared to worsening working conditions for those people who make life a little easier fro us all.  :)

I just wanted to point out I wasn't having a go at those that were striking or the cause that they are striking for. I'm now in the public sector after spending 26 years as a public servant (Royal Navy), and no I'm not going to get on the band wagon of our armed forces cant strike! IMHO if the other public servants can turn it around for them then they are in a win win situation!

oh  bins were emptied in Portsmouth & kids at school in Cornwall so happy all round!

I'm sorry but why would i want to watch that, i could go to the show rooms and book a test drive, i will never be able to drive a super car though and rarely see them, bar on Top Gear etc.
yeah but sometimes it is boring! i do like top gears other features and challanges! still think what they did with that toyota pickup was probably best ever thing they did!!

as for other things like news reports etc ...

agree on that, they do it in films where there are huge dialogues and they sit looking at each other! when i tried that i was all over the road!

plus have you noticed they never get cut up and swear at other drivers like in real life! lol

(saw them filming heartbeat in Goathland few years ago and they closed the roads off for safety when filming things like that still not easy to look drive in a straigh line whilst looking at the person you talking to!

Suzi perry (PWOAR!!) used to review bikes on 5th gear didn't she?

the thing that annoys me is that they
a) only seem intrested in super cars that are out of the normal persons price range!
b) rarely feature bikes

would love to see a feature comparing normal cars been driven on proper roads rather than a test track!

i liked the fact that when he was stowing it away they cut from him putting it in the pouch to when he finally zipped it up!! didn't show the ten minutes and expletives as he struggled to get it in as one side popped out then the other side!! And the clips for the wing mirrors so it doesnt blow off!!

someone has re invented the waterproof cape/ poncho !!

I have nprobmesa renewing every 10 years as appreances do change, but since I renewed mine I 've grown a beard (which i intend to keep!)... should i have a new pic taken or wait till its time to renew again? is it against the law as i do look totally different!

that reminds me I got to get new passport in march!! how much is that every 10 years?

Finding a cheap decent hotel in London can be difficult. I went up last weekend but been ex forces stayed at Union Jack Club. OK so it was £115 a night for the two of us but that was a superior double. i would rate the room about 4* it was great and good location near Waterloo.

    * Will concrete have enough grip for a 1 in 3 ish slope in the wet?

it would if you either cemented batons into it like rumble strips, use marine ply and well varnished if using wood or else you could use paving blocks! or you could just try a rough texture!

Personally i'd use paving bricks that way it would look better.
