A few years ago I was at a young lads funeral and both songs were AC / DC.
A friend of mine died of a heart attack on his way to the boozer, the only song that was sung was Little ol wine drinker. He was an alcoholic !! A 3 day send off followed.

Thats a good age to get to and by the sound of it they were well looked years.
I was up on the top of the hill 'seeing' my old Lab thats grave is up there. Gave her a view of all the shooting ground she worked all her days.
It's a shame we are so far apart as I have Springador pups here at the mo and I would have given you a great offer on one.
All the best with your new charge.
All the gamekeepers around here (20 odd) have an absent friends toast on the last day of the shooting season to remember our companions.

Aaand the next ride out meet up point is esetest' gaff!
 If the foccers within a nice days ride were to do this I reckon it would be a nice wee show. I am sooooooooooooooo lucky where I live and glad I do as I have access to some nasty tools !! There are 3 villages near me where youth ( 18 - 21 year olds ) tried to take over, it didn't work and the local police stayed out the way. Good luck to both of you. Come on forccers, give this man a show of hands.

 For me and some of the others it's more about the chin wag than the run. The reason we picked Lanark was it's even distance between most of the interested members and the road from Douglas to Cumnock, great road and easy for people to peel off for home. I know you weren't having a go, I'm just a grumpy Foccer
