There somtimes a nightmare to get out But it's a easy job and you don't need any skills to do it
Depends on your garrage set up depends on how may people you need to help you do it One to ballance the bike if you don't have a center stand and one to help guide the tip of the drift/crowbar

I've removed my original clocks and got a koso speedo on my bike I've not has any running issues at all
Where are you taking your speed reading from? The OE speed sensor or the one supplied with the Koso?
Do you get any error codes?
I use magnets and the sensor for the speedo Just have to calibrate it Error codes? What on the new unit No all works good

Take the fairing off You can cut the bracket down that the clocks sit on Make sure what ever headlamp unit you get it is a proper bulb
I bought one and it had a small halogen bulb like what is used in kitchens Needless to say it was rubbish and it got binned before I tried to put it on the bike

Why do you need to change the torque arm? I've just kept the fzs600 one

My fazer 1000 caliper fitted onto the fzs600 bracket I needed to take a couple of mm off with a dremel and that was it
Quick and simple mod to do

There are 2 fuses on the starter solenoid under plastic covers and one inline one
Failing that I had a issue with the plugs that were located under the tank The one from the ignition barrel shorted out and killed everything

I've put a smdge of gasket sealant round the outside 2
Will spray some quick start or carb clear while the end is running If the revs pick up then I know I need replacements
