A mate at work a few years back was getting a bollocking off one of the bosses, he put his hand in his pocket, pulled a handful of change out and said "Here's 10p, go ring someone that gives a fuck". He got laid off not too long afterwards, strangely enough.

If you are gonna use it for stunting and dent the tank I'm sure someone out there would be very grateful if you offered to swap your tank for someones that isn't in such good condition.  With a cash adjustment of course.

FZS600 Fazer / Re: front sprocket nut

Bought mine last November (2001 600, 14000 on the clock) and checked it due to reading about it on here and it was loose. Bought the 12mm one , was less than 3 quid if I remember right, including the lock washer, so stupid not to do it. Can also recommend the windy gun for undoing front sprocket nuts that won't come undone, had same problem twice with RD250F and a 350 powervalve, really struggled until someone else suggested a windy gun, borrowed a cordless one from work and it came off instantly, ended up buying one for my compressor off ebay for about 22 quid (including some sockets) and it has helped out one or two friends now.

and still think that proper motorcycles have 2 cylinders and no fairing,

I'd be inclined to agree with you there. Love this bike to bits, so much fun to ride.

I received a parking charge notice for  £100 when i got home claiming that i parked overnight at the Hengrove imperial park on the 23rd dec 2015 , this is horse shit as i picked my daughter up from her cleaning job in town at approx 20.30 on 23/12/15  , they claim i entered the car park at 17.02 on the 23/12/15 which i did to buy some plastic sheeting from B&Q and that i left at 11.51 on the 24/12/15 which i did to get my wife a surprise present from Boots , but i didn't stay overnight , either there camera system is flawed or it is a deliberate scam , has anyone else had a similar  problem .

esetest-Isn't that at the same time someone off this forum was at your house to collect something bought off you, so therefore you couldn't possibly have been there overnight as the item they collected off you, at your house, was in your car which was parked outside, as the letter they will write for you will testify?

Here she is, pretty standard apart from the can and h/bars. Don't like the bars, someone has put Renthals on at some point but not keen on them.

Managed to get an FZS600, 2001 model, fairly local to me, only done 14000 miles, had it nearly 3 weeks now but not ridden it yet, always seems to be pissing down when I'm not at work.

Hi all, my name is Kev, polecat on a few other forums, from Scarborough. Current bikes are a 350lc, YPVS, 250F, 250F special in the making and a Fizzy. Last big bike I had was an FZR1000exup, but didn't really enjoy riding it as I always felt like I was just waiting to get either hurt or banned. As much as I enjoy riding the little two strokes I miss having something a bit bigger, and dare I say more reliable, for longer journeys, so, not wanting a missile but wanting a Yamaha of some sort, I have decided a 600 Fazer fits the bill. I much prefer the look of the earlier ones so it's likely that that is what I will be getting at some point. I'll let you know when it happens.

Kev.
