New To Fazer Thou
« on: 07 February 2016, 09:10:13 pm »
Hi everyone,
Just picked up a Gen 1 02 in blue, 15k excellent condition fitted with colour coded belly pan and hugger. Also fitted heated grips, adjustable levers and blue screen. Supplied with a folder of old mots etc. It has been well looked after by its previous owners. Had to collect in a van as I am suffering from over exuberance on the badminton court resulting in a damaged hamstring. While I am mending It will give me chance to give it thorough check over and service just for piece of mind. Looking forward to getting out for a ride. I am from the Bristol area.
Cheers for now,
Oldcreaky.

Lots of ideas to make a great bike better, will need to go for a ride to prioritise the order of purchase and then to sneak spending past the wife. Most immediate job is to get the leg better so i can be safe and comfortable on the bike. I felt the same when I had a black hornet 900 always thought it faster than my mates blue one.

Swapped my Tcat for  gen 2 fz1s. TBH I don't think I need to do anything to make it faster.  :b Just added a bellypan & front fender extender. Mind you it did have a few things already upgraded.  ;)
