Wecome, you'll have to let us know if you're pleased with the bike after giving it a run. Any photos ? and are you planning any mods ?

If you want nice shiny domed nuts  :rolleyes   I used these which were perfect for the job and only 99p inc postage.  Torque for the header nuts is 10Nm.

Thanks for the comments. I originally wanted a blue FoxEye but there weren't any good ones around, and so glad I got the yellow bike now as it really stands out. There's no noticeable power increase that I can tell after fitting the pipes, I guess it would have to be dynoed to find out if it's running above stock.

Cheers Neil.

They are from Delkevic off eBay and only 185 inc p&p. See my other post under the introduction section titled "born again biker" posted earlier today. Would have posted the link but sending this from my phone.  Great value and fitted perfect.

Hi all
Back into biking 15 years after selling my 1994 CB500 twin.
Spent a couple of months reading the posts on here and magazine reviews and narrowed it down to the Hornet or

Fazer.
The Fazers looks and tank range swung it. Finally found a 2002 FoxEye in yellow from a dealer with FSH and 18k

for just over 2k - perfect.

The downpipes and collector box appeared to be in good shape, however after 3 months and some spirited! riding

the collector box blew a nice big hole.

More reading of the posts on here followed and a set of Delkevic stainless downpipes ordered from Ebay ...
...now they have another set which slightly more expensive and comes with the balance pipes so contacted

'Delkevic' and was advised that they have just updated the design and if I ordered the cheaper ones, I would get

sent the revised design anyway.
So fair play to them and they arrived next day !!   (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290760812562)

Also ordered new stainless dome nuts which are perfect ...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180914741372

Local dealer couldnt fit them for two weeks, so after 3 days prepping the header nuts with WD40, as suggested on

here, and being no mechanic, yesterday I plucked up the courage to have a go at fitting.  The header nuts came

off surprisingly a lot easier than I'd have thought and confirms that the previous owner had looked after the

yellow peril.

Plenty of coffee breaks and relatively few swear words later it all lined up perfectly and is now running sweet.
Tip1 - make sure you push the collar (flange?) on cylinder 2 past the frame before lining it all up !!
Tip2 - the socket wont go past the frame when tightening the bottom nut on cyl 2 either so stick the socket on

the nut before threading the extension bar through !!

Next job, fender extender to protect them.

Some before and after photos...thanks to the previous posters of all the threads that I read !!

Cheers Neil.
