Just a note on the Ignitor 5LV-82305-00, it is only suitable for FZS1000 models with the lights on/off switch on the the right handle bar and possibly the US imports.
Not suitable for the  2003 0nwards models that automatically switch on  the lights when the engine starts.  The ignitor  controls the switching on of the lights and has an extra wire to do this.

Good shout mate
This was from the original listing......

YAMAHA FAZER FZS1000 CDI UNIT - IGNITION IGNITER BOX
TAKEN FROM A 5LV 2002 MODEL - FULL WORKING ORDER
USED BUT GOOD CONDITION THROUGHOUT
Mine is a 2001 model(as you confirmed on another post)and is exactly the same part number, but it is registered on 03 plate so is the changeover in 2003 ?

Yes 2003 was the changeover, but many 2001 and 2002 models could have been registered in 2003, The Fzs1000 did not sell in 2001 and 2002 as it was considered overpriced, but they were heavily discounted and sales picked up. It is in the last few 10 years or so that riders have come to realise the FZS1000 and the FZS600 were a seriously under rated bike.
