If a Saturday is a agreed upon It may be better for this to be an afternoon meet/ride due to work commitments on the Saturday morning.
If Sunday is agreed Lunch time may be a good time.
Both the start and end point are popular bike meeting points for those who don't know and the ride between the two isn't too bad either.

I is trying to get over the pinnines for the meet but is dependent on work and meet time.

The hard bit is finding you as i do not do sat nav as they like to take charge and send ya the long way round.
On other side of Manchester if I is right so 2 un half hours and 2 at push is not bad.

Just been to see the works DR and i,m afraid i won,t be able to do the run,off work for another 2 week and told not to attempt to go on the bike :'( (she went mad when i told here i went up and down the road). When i see what time you lads are setting off there,s a good chance i will see u in Southport coz the misses has offered to drive us there.So hopefully will see you all on Sunday.

All being well I'll be up there on my 90 trying to drum up a few quid for my ride, be nice to meet a few folk even if I don't make the ride.

Was supposed to be making this one, but due to unforseen circumstances kicking sand in my face again by snapping the spring in my camchain tensioner again a week ago, I'll not be there. Good job it didnt happen when I was 'making progress' back from the Bike Shed the other week :eek

So far I'm still in :) . I presume the meeting place is the large Hall Barn at the top of the drive where the Sunday riders head for, rather than the small barn where the old boys go during the week.

Aye, I were a bit lucky I suppose, got leant over a bit on t'roundabout near thwaites and heard it ticking, stopped to check and there it was. Pulled it out, pssssss... Buck and follocks, better than it letting go tho I s'pose. Roll on the next one. Ride out not puncture...

Sorry i missed you guys got there about 1.30 in the cage,got to meet yamy ( Gordon) 10 minute chat there,then could tell the lad was getting bored so off i plodded.
Nice to meet you Gordon :) .
P S will let you know when i need them exhaust nuts mate.

Cracking way of killing a few hours chaps, ended up doing impromptu traffic management on the way back from Glasson dock.
Looked like some poor bugger on two wheels had had either hit or been clouted into the back of an A4 estate on the A585 Preston New Road, looked like he was kinda all right ish and being looked after, so seeing as the traffic was building up I jumped in and did my bit to try and alleviate the tailbacks till the boys and a particularly pretty girl in blue turned up.

Oh and for the the record I'm Ian, the big grey foccer in the photos with the Montser T and the black FZ6

Fizzy Pies, you forgot to mention James, ( I think that was his name!), the young lad resplendent in nice new leathers 8) who clung on bravely to the back of his dads bike for the ride. I think his dad was Yamy.
