Very sad ! Thoughts are with family and friends ,
but also with his team and those also involved in the accident
Rossi and Edwards had no escape route.

i am very saddened by the loss of marco - came across as a genuine and great guy. exceptionally talented.

my thoughts and heart go out to colin edwards - i can't even begin to imagine how he feels.

Sad loss to the world. Marco was a fantastic talent & it's a massive loss for the sport.
He always gave 100% in his riding every time he hit the track & the sport should thank him for that.
My worry is that Rossi may not retire as he was involved in the accident & Marco was his mate.
Sleep well #58 - The world will miss your mad hair & your mad riding. RIP

Apparently the Daily Mail has very graphic photo's of the accident, a lot of tweeters asking for complaints to be made http://www.pcc.org.uk/

May Sideshow Bob,  the most exciting rider in MotoGP,  rest in speed.    I was shocked when I heard, and still can't believe he's gone.   Italy are in mourning still.   I wonder how Rossi is feeling, after colliding with him.  It must have been pretty bad for him as they were good mates.
