Dovizioso has now been confirmed for the Ducati. (Should have stayed where he was)

I have the DID type, sort of does the job, it isn't very good at splitting the chain an angle grinder is much better. It also feels flimsy when doing the rivets. Bit shite really.

General / Re: Disc Lock?« on: 05 August 2012, 07:29:30 pm »I got a xena alarmed disc lock which so far been really good. I don't really know why it failed, it had been working fine up 'til then. I went to unlock it and the key(s), although turning round in the lock, just wouldn't unlock it. Tried oiling it and leaving overnight, still nothing. The bike was in our garage so it hadn't been tampered with. In the end I took the disc off and attacked the lock with my 4" angle grinder. Have to say the lock didn't really offer too much resistance to the grinder. The lock was about 4 years old I think. 180

What a pain in the arse to get off. Thankfully happened at home and not out and about. Not too keen on getting any disc lock now! 181

Introduction / Hello« on: 17 May 2012, 11:25:55 am »
Hi,
I’m new to the site and new to Fazer ownership. I’ve just got a black one on a ’98 plate. I like this bike alot! I was late into biking passing my test at 47 that was nearly 4 years ago (I’ll let you do the maths). Previous bike was a Ducati Monster M900. I've already found some good helpful stuff on Fazer ownership on here. John |
