Set mine to one off the top hard setting an whacked the damping up full   although to be honest the shock has probably had its day after 32 thousands miles but feels alot better than it did with the mrs on the back so itll do for now .

Got you took the bike out of the bay on return an left it running for fifteen  while i give it the once over , looked over the scooter aswell pretty much covered in plastic from top to bottom so doubt it is off one of them oh well would hate to think i damaged someones wheels although parking in the bays up west is a nightmare i have had to replace mirrors an suffered cosmetic damage to my own bike parking in them .

That is an excelent description of what it looks llike  :)
Its made of see threw rubber with a clamp it was pretty grimey on the out side mot sure if i can smell a slight wiff of petrol from the inside of it.

Cheers guy i do have an after market cable on the bike been running it for about fifteen hundred miles does the job but i aint happy with it  , i did get a false neutral the other day dropping from 6th to 5th an read a similar thread to the one you posted mike where the a guy on the same site got the false neutral going from 5th to 6th an turned out to be the cap .
So the plan it get on the phone to fowlers for gasket an have nose in the clutch side if  that is the problem i will sort a new cable too an keep it if not i'll out it as is or break it an give breamcatcher a call  :lol .
