Well, been out for two good rides on the new MT-09 and it's stonking, so it looks like the FZ1 Fazer can go! Never ever thought I'd wanting to be Fazerless but they are called FZ09 across the pond so it's almost a Fazer  Will have to dig it out of the back of the garage and take some pics for selling purposes so if you fancy an 09 Gen2 Fazer, watch this space!

Went to Wembley to see Arsenal win the cup and much beer was consumed.
Today took the MT-09 out for it's first blast in glorious sunshine and shortly off to help a friend celebrate a birthday.
Nice!

Never had ABS on a bike, whats it like?
Looking at an MT-09 and the ABS I can have much quicker than the non-abs model.
I think they said £400 difference, is it worth it?
Can you still change your own pads and clean and lube the callipers and pistons?

If I were to spend around 4 days in your Alps like countryside, where should I go for great roads and what time of year for reasonable weather.
Would travel up in a van with bikes in the back and will need a nice hotel(s) that like bikes!

Before I go off searching a load off non relevant google results, maybe someone can help
ITunes on a windows7 PC.
Being chrimbo I want to load an xmas playlist on my ipod, so I done what I normally do, tick the selections I want to transfer to the ipod.
As I was ticking them, around half of them changed names and artists!!!!!
And to a xmas sounding title but all of them changed artist to something like Jazz Fusion (haven't got it in front of me so can't give the exact name).
The actual tune is still the original.
Any Ideas???

Been told we are buying something for each other "just to open" !! Doesn't need to be expensive and at the same time doesn't need to be cheap. She was getting a slow cooker but we bought one last night unfortunately, mind you she wasn't too chuffed when I laughed out loud in Argos and told her my intentions Still plan B is the coffee maker I've mentioned in another thread but I still need something a bit more suitable for the old girl, but what?

Am thinking of going for a nespresso machine, namely the U milk one as it does good looking latte's with real milk which is the only coffee the wife drinks. Me, I drink any coffee - yum-yum

But it was the WR250 negotiating a rather slippery set of steps cut into the hillside. Just swore laughed got back on nearly did it again  If only I was as capable as the bike, been a year since I rode it and it's the most knackering 50 mile ride I've done

Sunday morning, joined the A21 on the dual carriageway bit with a couple of mates, for a couple of miles to the roundabout at the end.
Accelerated a bit briskly as we left the slip road and further back in my mirrors saw some headlights suddenly appear, rapidly gaining.
Thought to myself, "where the foc was that copper hiding".
It was then that the Audi RS6 came past us at full chat! What a wonderful sound, it was mesmerising.
Of cause we pinned it to catch him up, did it just before the roundabout where he turned left into a lane and I could hear him gunning it - fantastic!

Got a Samsung LCD that blows the internal fuse with a pop!
Is it worth trying to get it repaired?
It's a 32inch around 3 or 4 years old.

Jeez that was one fiddly job that took 3 evenings Evening 1 Remove fairing panels and tank (pop new air filter in) and gaze in wonderment at the sprawling mass of wires and tubes. Evening 2 After looking on FZ1OA site at work earlier in the day, find a picture of the bits that matter. Then attempt job. Eventually get it sorted with lots of swearing and burning fingers. Evening 3 Because it was all too hot to touch last night, disconnect the carbtune and put everything back together! It was never like that on the 600 or gen1 thou

On my C drive got a couple of folders with strange names like 279656dd18688b51ecb89.
When I click on them I get a security box saying you do not currently have access to this folder, click here to get access.
Are they legit items or should I be worried? Virus scans have found nothing.

Quick question about my side stand.
Noticed yesterday that there is a bit of flex/movement at the top of the stand where the bolt is that holds it on.
The bolt isn't noticeably loose.
Is that how's it meant to be or does it need tightening?

When I used to hover over a post, a little pop up appeared with the first few lines of that post.
This has stopped now, how do I get it back?
