Got some Avons Storms bought back in 2010 that have been really good in terms of grip but need a new set so what do you recommend these days?

Got a set of (standard front setup) 3 x Goodrich braided stainless lines with black outer sheathing complete with all banjo bolts, so you just need the copper washers!
I replaced them with the two line race setup, to be honest I can’t feel any difference & I can’t be bothered to change them back.
Good as new no damage or rust & can email some pictures, pm me if required.

By chance earlier, I lent on the rear part of the bike causing the front wheel to rise off the ground, when I took my weight off I heard quite a load knocking sound from the front end as the wheel met the ground. Rocking it back & forth on the centre stand the knocking sound is definitely there. There is no play in head bearings & smooth from left to right, lifting the front end by the bottom of the forks to create the same rocking motion I can feel a mechanical knock same time as the knocking sound as the front wheel meets the ground. Off the centre stand holding the front brake pushing the forks up & down good smooth operation though the knocking sound is still there but a little less so it’s not the pads. Forks had a KTEC upgrade last year along with head bearing greasing etc & have noticed nothing until today. Could it be just some play in the fork internals causing this when they go from unloaded to loaded even with just the bikes weight on the centre stand? Any ideas as it does not sound right?

Having read many threads on setting the TPS 'Ivans dynamic way' with his full Monty fitted, I tried the same a few days back after fitting Holeshots 3 degree advancer. I was surprised to find my fastest rpm was achieved with the TPS turned fully anti clockwise. Its initial static TPS position was approx ¾ clock wise with the tacho reading 5K as per normal TPS setting! Dose this sound right with the advancer fitted? It seams to start much better with no choke two days running, hope to get out on it tomorrow for seat of the pants test ride. Just wondering if anyone has the same set up, what you found your TPS position to be set the ‘Ivans’ way?

For a change worked out OK this time, a Two Brothers M2 Carbon slip on. Makes my ears bleed with no db suppressor fitted & is lighter than my HTC wildfire but pleasantly surprised on the look of it.

Recently, A blue Gen 1 Fzs1000 like my own stopped next to me at some lights fitted with what looked like standard wheels painted gold. I was in my car so I couldn't stop him.
I have seen this same colour on wheels of 08 blue R1, as now mine is a keeper does anyone know where there is a Company capable of doing the same transformation? I don't mind paying or travelling for a good job done.
Any recomendations appreciated.
