what about fixing with some of that self almaulgamating (spelling) tape
Not if you do it neatly like--- erm the tape on your old racer bike handle bars or the tape on an old tennis raquet, sor of a slow spiral
Had this wrapped around the wing mirror on an old Peugeot 306 to hold it on and it never got caked in any crap
