For Sale & Wanted / Re: Wanted - FZS600 Square eye

I have a 2001 Y reg with 10K miles, pyramid hugger, HEL braided hoses front and back, double bubble, heated grips, givi top box, all consumables in good shape. There's a few flakes of paint missing on the fins, and a mark on the swingarm, but other than that it's in excellent nick.

For Sale & Wanted / 2001 FZS600 Fazer for sale
« on: 20 July 2013, 09:49:07 pm »
2001, Y reg

10K (might be less, must check)

Pyramid hugger, HEL braided steel brake lines, double bubble screen, S/S downpipes, heated grips, Michelin Pilots with little wear. It's not immaculate but it's in excellent condition.

Not MOTd last year because my knees were banjaxed and I just covered it, left it on the optimate, and had a really long sulk.

General / Re: Terrible news from sepang Moto GP

Tragic accident, and an awful loss...aside from his obvious talent, which would undoubtedly have propelled him in the near future to a motogp title, Simoncelli was a really engaging, likeable bloke - and in a time where so many of the top riders seem either as dull as ditchwater, or to have disappeared entirely up their own arsehole, the big, gangly lad with Hendrix hair added an enormous air of excitement and fun to motogp.

For the last two seasons, I'd have honestly rather watched Simoncelli ride a Honda fucking Melody round a carpark than endure some of the processions we've had to endure on track.

Can't stand the appearance of my 2001 original indicators any longer - has anyone here got a recommendation for flush/mini indicators?

Had a lot of fully comp offers this year in the £50-80 range using the insurance search engines but ended up going with Carole Nash for just over £100 because having to add all the elements of cover I want made the initially cheaper offers rack up to well over that.

House insurance to sort next week. PITA.

FZS600 Fazer / Fairing bolts
« on: 03 October 2011, 10:08:15 am »
Hello all!

Does anyone know where I can get replacement inner fairing bolts for an 2001 FZS 600? I suspect the bloke who resprayed my fairing a couple of years ago forgot to put them back in...
