Ok so the first two aren't really that close just bad driving but the car at the end was complete and utter cock.

Foccin ell mate

First 2 were fairly common type stuff but number 3 was a peach.

You can see how scared she is even driving a car, totally tense, crushing the steering wheel...too close to the dash....& this about sums things up that these types shouldn't really be on the roads legally....add to that she's probably so unfit she would struggle to move her neck far to even look at a junction.

She'll certainly be a bit more scared now anyway...but she will create a story in her own mind that you must have been doing 100mph and it wasnt her fault...bikes are dangerous she will say to her friends.

Shocking footage though it's happens to us all so many times, still makes you wince..
Another reason all my bikes are loud. And how handy is that kind of footage if you do get fetched off, though no insurance win replaces a leg :(

Not sure which you are classing as the three out of a possible 4 options but apart from the red car I tend to think you're being a bit cyclegaz ;)

i only saw one incident, and even from the camera you can see that she's going come what may.
i'm sorry but drivers like that get me parked widthways blocking the carriageway whilst i tell them what i think of their standard of driving. i usually say 'if i were in uniform right now this would be very serious'
don't tell them it's a bus drivers uniform tho'.
the two overtakes you did are your responsibility to get right, they may have weaved within their lane, but they're allowed to.
my mantra is that they'er all out to get you!

Yeah the the red car was driven by a dozy moron, but what else did anybody do wrong? Spot of sloppy driving, but nowt serious.

First chap pulling away, yeah maybe bit eager, but not obvious if he was really blind to you. Pretty much as I'd expect from anyone trying to pull out in a smallish gap in traffic.

White car pulling over, nowt wrong with that, had brake lights on, even flashed hazards for moment and did actually indicate which way they were going. 90% of all taxis I see in the city will do far worse than this, in far dumber places with much less indication.

Cars you overtook, had to watch this a few times, but I really couldn't see what was so wrong here. Just looked like two average speed cars, you safely overtook. Errrm, am I missing something?

As for the red car, yes, that had SMIDSY written all over it. Next time, you approach a junction with car looking to pull out, consider positioning yourself nearer to centre to be more visible (though staying mindful of oncoming car on other side). Possibly weave a bit - side-to-side motion of your lights is easier to spot and judge distance/speed of. In this instance I don't suppose she even looked, but you could have hit your horn on approach, she may have finally taken notice then, hit anchors and given you spot more room to swerve around. I don't want to say you did anything wrong, but there's no point being right if an idiot puts you in a wheel chair. Have a gander at this near SMIDSY I had:-

Red car driver totally oblivious/unfit to be in charge of any sort of vehicle-increasingly common unfortunately-the onus is on you to expect the unexpected in order to stay alive.
Regarding the two overtakes-both cars are on their side of the white line-whats wrong with you using the entire width of the opposing carriageway to give yourself a safety zone?

Finally i now know what a foccin smidsy is....been seeing smidsy this smidsy that for ages now. :rolleyes

I do that swervey thing too.....i must have read it in a bike mag or something......dunno if it works but it certainly highlights that bikers are foccin shittin in their pants at every junction so the more folk see that then the more awareness is raised..."why do i keep seeing bikes swerving about near junctions".....eventually someone will tell them.

Another thing i do is a little thank you wave to folk that look like they suddenly seen you just in the nick of time....a little "thanks for not killing me this time" wave.......positive reinforcement or some shit they call it dont they....anyway it gets across a point that i was thinking about them pulling out on me & im glad they didnt & maybe this makes them chuffed & a bit more thoughtful about bikes in future eh.......or maybe like exup says most dont give a foc.......some do, some dont...but we gotta keep trying.

In my opinion the estate car had actually spotted you and was waiting and his gentle moving forward probably helped to hold off the cars pulling out of the junction:)

I would go out further when overtaking its going to hurt you more than them  , the white car put on his hazards and indicated , the car pulling out was dangerous driving either they didn't look or they need to get their eyes checked , personally when approaching a junction I allow for idiots , I slow down and change road position , it still hurts even when your in the right .

I just had 2 totally oblivious preoccupied women walk out into the road on me.
One with earphones in, and the other texting.
Neither of them flinched or made any attempt to even move their eyes to the right.

Had them in my sights early though, finger ready on the air horn.
Soon livened them up.  :eek :eek

Arfa I think your actions with this car were wrong, it looks to me that the car driver was creeping forward to gain a view of the on coming traffic, the van was obstructing his view, he was half way out before he came into your view. With that in mind it would have been a safer step for you to slow up and let him continue out. Perhaps I m seeing the situation wrong though.

Yep, TBF, they were pulling out slowly, rather than stupidly zooming out. At first I thought they see me and stop as they were only creeping out slowly. However what was less obvious was they weren't looking my way until I hammered the horn. Probably could have rolled off a bit more, yeah.

What I liked was how u just got back on and carried on riding as if nothing happened. Top man. Bit like deadeye when he had his off. He stacked it in a hedge aswell but his was worse and he just jumped on mine and rode it home without a care on the world. Top blokes. Proper riders.  ;-)

SMIDGAF...............spot on!!
Ralphie, are you serious or tongue in cheek with the bollocks comment?
The old geezer explains looming and cammo quite well, when I done my advanced course there was a Cop who weaved big time (even one of the other instructors thought he moved too much) but the Cop swore by it as a safety measure and said he'd always had a positive reaction from potential SMIDY'S
