just grab the wheel by the *spoke* and turn it. or put a trolley jack under the header.

Breeze block on the floor and tie a rope to it and the bike rear :eek
Dont ask it's a chef thing
After 15 years EX-Fazer owner XJR. XJR gone FJR, FJR gone NEW FJR that's gone, now Triumph Tiger Explorer  an CB400n Superdream sold BMW 650 Funduro sold Now a R1200GA Adventure Rallye next ? OK so where next turns out to be V-Strom 1050 NEXT?

Block of wood and a wedge under the exhaust headers doe it for me. Trolley jack would also work just don't lift it to high or it could all end in :'(
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.

Wouldn't be able to do this for hours on end but I just grab the left fork with my left hand and lift, then spin the wheel with my right. I'm 5'6 & 9 1/2 stone so if I can do it, I'm sure most could!

I just bungee strap my tool box on the rear seat, its just enough to almost pivot the bike on the center stand, makes it very easy to check front a rear with almost no effort :)

just put a bit of weight on the rear seat or if you have a top box fill that up with something heavy

I've got a 50mm jack up kit on my fazer, So when it's on the center stand both wheels sit on the floor and i can't budge the bike either way. But when I needed to see if the rotation was okay for M.O.T I just put the bike on a little bit of a hill facing upwards and got somebody to push down on the back so the front would raise up.
