Arashi Front disks
« on: 01 October 2013, 10:07:01 am »
has anyone had any real experience with Arashi disks?
I have a warped front disk from when i dropped it, and although its been ok for a few months of nice weather I am looking to replace them asap before the cold wet dark nights creep in.
I know you get waht you pay for but I cannot afford OEM's and these at £123 a pair inc p n p!!! from mad hornets seem great value?
a search for reviews seems to give that most people that have tried them think they are pretty dammed good?
any foccers got some first hand experience of these?

I too am on the look out for new discs. Thinking of getting Ferodo discs (£107.99 each) from M&P, they had them listed on eBay for a while but it seems to have gone, they said i need to call now, need to get round to that.

Also been told i need a rear, think i'll go Brembo for that.

With all due respect it's false economy buying very cheap new discs, you'll more than likely need a new set not far down the line.
If your budget is tight i would be more inclined to take a chance with a used pair of OEM discs, just make sure they are advertised as being straight rather than just sold as seen.
Otherwise try and hold out and save money for a decent make.

I agree. There are some things it's not worth going for the cheap option and brakes is one of them. They are too important.
