Congrats on the purchase and have fun with the fettling. It's all part of the enjoyment of Fazer ownership.

If you need any advice just post up a thread. I won't be able to help you because I know foc all but there's loads of knowledgeable folk on here  ;)
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

yeh, used to fettling..been having a poke around at pics of members bikes trying to gauge what I think works and what doesn't for me.
going to go down the polished rims route,  not sure about a belly pan yet? it would have to be black , as I don't think blue works for me... same with the hugger.
possible 25mm jack up at the back end?? anybody done this??    how does it affect the handling?

definatly need to get rid of the rear sail and get an under tray in blue..

colour change maybe...never ends does it.
one of the 1st things to sort is some damage to the nose fairing,

anybody know of a decent paint shop around mk northants area... and what kind of cost for a paint job on it?

stevie,

what makes you think it needs painting? can you not just polish it up (or have someone do it for you?).

No, but you can roll it in glitter!

Good luck and make sure to post a thread of your mods. Always interesting following that sort of stuff.

I know a guy just outside of Chesterton, just outside of Bicester who does bodywork to a pretty good standard. Not sure he's done stuff for bikes, but he's had plenty of practise on cars. He's not expensive either.

Congrats on the buy, now for pics!
