It is with regret after 8 years of gen 1 thou ownership and great times both owning the bike and all the help on here,I have recieved, I am trading the old girl in.
I can't afford to keep her and have a new bike.
I have got a good deal else I would of tried selling her on here.
So new bike next week.
I will still come on here from time to time as you guys make it such a good forum.
Keep an eye in the for sale column as I have loads of bits for the fazer to shift.
Many thanks to Mike, Devilsyam and many others
Cheers Jacko

Well, whatever you've traded the Fazer for will have a lot to live up to, Jacko, because yours was a particularly nice one.
So, what's it to be next ... ?

I sat on a Speed Triple in Fowlers earlier this year ... one with the nice custom paint job. Ergos felt good, I made all the usual brrrmm-brrrmmm noises and wondered if I might be tempted. Climbed off, walked away to do some more tyre-kicking and it suddenly clicked ... the Triumph's ergos felt right because they're identical to how I've got my Fazer set up with rearsets, narrower bars and so on.
If I ever get another bike, it will have to be something completely different because I just can't see anything out there which fits the universal bike genre any better still than a Gen 1 Fazer.
Enjoy the Speedy, Jacko, but I won't be surprised to find you back on a Fazer in a couple of years.

Funny enough Billy the shop im buying it from is called Arnolds motorcycles and the bike's first owner from Leicestershire!
Maybe I will be back on a fazer with a bored out MT 09 engine in and single side swingarm and R1 front end!
