Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Looking at Kosmic's post, I think the Ace lads have two options:

1) Get to the Ace earlier, and then go on to meet Kosmic et al at his initial rendez-vous point.

2) Organise ourselves to meet them at the Oxford services (Peartree Interchange). Any thoughts?

If people want 2, I can start work on a route.

Hey, coming from the south coast (poole) and this starting point seems to be my best bet, unless you can advise otherwise.

Also Hey ChristoT, we meet on the Jersey to Poole Ferry last sunday,

Sounds good, Stainless! It'll be good to see you again! It's an early start though, the Runnymede chaps are leaving at 9:30, and the Ace guys will meet en route.

If you come up the M3, maybe Runnymede would be easier for you? Saves you having to come into London.

Conveniently, looks like the Ace route without motorways is similar in length / time to the Runnymede group (according to Google maps). If anyone is meeting here, please let me know!! If not, I'll just go to Runnymede myself (or straight to Oxford, for that matter).

IF people are interested, this looks like a good potential route - no motorways:

Leave Ace at 9:30
A40, through Gerrards Cross
Beaconsfield
High Wycombe
West Wycombe
Stokenchurch
Postcombe
The A418, to rejoin the A40, and enter Oxford via Wheatley and Headington. Join Kosmic's group at the Peartree Interchange.

Pretty much following the A40 the whole way. I have no idea if that route is any good, it seems like there are some nice bits on it (and it's better than the M40!)

Please post up any comments AND WHETHER YOU WANT TO TAKE THIS ROUTE!!

See ya out there...  :)

One week to go Foccers!  :lol

Chatting to EndaF, he might be joining the ride from Ace, as might Exupnut. No confirmations yet though.

Any other LoFos planning to head up from Ace Cafe?

See ya there!  :)

Ok, change of plans for me. Looks like I may well be joining the ride up to Birmingham with you guys instead of riding solo from Bristol.

Hope you can make it!

If you get to Ace Cafe after 9:30, and we aren't there, the second stop point is Oxford Peartree services. We're using the A roads, if you blast up the M40 (do a red98), you might be able to catch up there.

Evening Foccers!

Down to a few hours now...  :lol

For the London Foccers leaving from Ace, we leave at 9:30 sharpish. Those meeting at Ace are:

ChristoT
Exupnut
EndaF

Anyone else? If you miss us at Ace, blast up the M40, and meet us at Peartree Interchange. We should get there at about 11am.

See ya on the road!  :)

If your all going from peartree Oxford, may I suggest you take the A4260 to Banbury then pick up the M40 .
The A4260 used to be the A34 the main road north but now the M40 does that job it leaves this road quiet.
Hope you all have a nice day.
