Got mine on Friday - fitted over the weekend and tried them properly for the first time this morning. Can't believe how warm they get compared to the old ones I had on (Motrax). After about 10-15 mins they were getting almost too hot - a nice problem to have!

Only 2 -ve points:

1) The tube of superglue that came in the pack was rock solid so no use.
2) If I put the bar end on the throttle side it prevents the throttle snapping back freely. Whilst "cruise control" could be handy I think it's safer not to have it sticking! I know the end of the grip can be trimmed and that may be the answer - anyone else had this issue? Mine is a 2004 FZ6.

That's the whole idea of the trimmable bit - it's how I got mine to fit properly on my FZS 600, just took a couple mm off the end!

Cruise control! Never though of that!

I had the same problem, but it states in the instructions to trim as necessary so it's no biggie.

Well take your other bike for a ride, get warm hands, and I can guarantee you'll not want to ride a bike without them fitted again :P

I forgot to post back - I trimmed the end off the throttle grip and now the bar end weight goes on fine. Have now used the grips on several commutes and what a different - so happy I changed from my crappy Motrax grips!
