Not been to London fae donkeys years, but when I was last there I thought public transport was fantastic.  Got me everywhere nae bother.

Talking of getting blown up or stabbed, I was supposed to be at Glasgow airport the day of the terrorist attack.  There was to be a NO to ID protest, right around the time the slightly incompetent terrorists struck, and I was to take some snaps, but they switched it at the last minute to the Glasgow Passport Office.  If I’d have been there, I’d have made a mint, or maybe sods law would have intervened and I’d have got blown tae bits.

Funnily enough last time I took the train.
Glasgow, I park the car in Govan and take the tube.  Cheaper and quicker than driving into the centre.  And if you do try driving in Glasgow city centre, yup plenty of cameras automatically issuing fines.  City centre is a nightmare now.  Been a while since too since I parked the thou up in the city centre too.

Cyclists that do that stupid stationary balancing thing where they keep both feet on the pedals trying to avoid putting a foot on the floor at the front of the queue at red lights.

Because it means that they can pull away without needing to waste time getting their foot back into a toe clip.

How many bikers keep the bike in gear at the lights and hold the clutch in, instead of putting it into neutral as you're advised to do?

Don't know if any do. But I will if I know the lights are about to change
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

It's quite cheap - you go round some areas and it's pushing £40-45 for 4-8 hours. Add to that the congestion charge at £12.50 plus double the fuel that a bike uses and you can see why I bike it to London every day....2 gallons and that's all. Ahhhh forgot - the robbing bastards charge you £1 to park a bike in Westminster.

A 650 Bandit that hasn't been washed in 2 yrs will still be there (mechaically spot on )- it looks like shit for a reason. Even added yellow/green electrical tape here n there. If anyone nicks it they'd get a kicking from their Fagin  :lol

Riding into work this morning and couldn't help but notice the car behind tailgating me for quite a while.
On closer inspection looking at my wing mirror I noticed a woman with her sun visor down so she could carry on doing her make-up in her mirror while she was driving.  :grumble

She was doing it for so long if she had hit me i would've expected the doors to fall off the car then see Ronald McDonald get out.  :rolleyes
