anyone got an idea how much a new battery is for my  year 2000, fzs, just a rough idea. thanks.

£40- £55 for a normal one, £120 for one of them guaranteed high tec never die ones!
I Was quoted between £95 to £162 for a YUASA battery for my FZ1 last week
So bought it from the £95  place of cause..
 
I was going to try one them new lightweight Lithium Ion battery's,but I needed a battery straight away..So maybe next time.

My Fz1 had a new motobatt a couple of weeks ago £49.00  and all models in stock at my local shop on the shelf,,thats great too
An ageing test pilot for home grown widgets that may fail at anytime.

Motobat here to, has great cca turns over faster than any bat I have had so far and holds charge well.

Excellent service genuine kit all you do is add the the supplied acid when it arrives charge it over night and that's it forget these cheap Chinese rip offs being sold for stupid money by some stealers.

Also unless you have an alarm on your bike , i would not use a trickle charger, a good battery will hold its charge for a long long time,unless you know different! :)

agreed! MATT tech in those batteries delivers a really high cranking ampage, even when very cold

not sure a lithium ion battery is a good idea for a bike unless you need the weight saving.
