Hi all just got a 07 fz6 and looking at fitting some after market exhaust but i have some questions
I have a mate who said if i fit an after market exhaust to the bike then the bike is not going to run right ?
he said i would need to get a power commander for the bike to run right because the ecu is set up for the oem exhaust
and not the after market exhaust can some one help me please
I am also presuming that if I do change the exhaust, etc. it will need tuned to cope with the changes, is this true ???
All help greatly appreciated and cheers very much in advance..........
I fitted scorpion cans about three years ago, and the bike runs like a dream. I was advised at the time that they fit straight on the bike with no remapping required or tuning. Hope this helps.
U mean tyre off the rim or puncture?
Blimey are you ok? how fast were you going etc?
How big's the hole?

Thanks again for all your feedback very much appreciated, and Simonm that rucksack looks cool. Posted a pic below of my old bag which holds about 15L and this is the size I'm looking for. I have got bigger bags but find them a bit to big for work with just a snapping box and a few bit & bobs which look lost in there.15 litres, you could almost fit that under the seat (joke)
wey hey we've got a fazer doing a summersault going on there.(actually just seen you corrected it) i cant talk though as most of my recent pics were going up sideways.
anyway that's a cool looking motor, love the twin scorpions, not a fan of bag lux's though but each to their own.
hope you find your way round the site easy enough,i always click the 'home' button first, if you look carefully along the top bar underneath the pic of the bike otherwise known as 'frankenfazer' theres lots of stuff to be seen, you can put yourself on the map so others can see your rough location & you can join in on local ride outs, theres a search function so you can view previous posts about a subject instead of repeating a previously asked question, plus of course 'forum' will take you towards your bike specific area so that you can post things in the relevant areas, forum is also where you'll find the for sale section.
happy viewing!
