The fix for the FZS600 was R1/R6? mirrors - quite a bit longer but otherwise the same. Not sure if the thou is the same.

And if you are still too wide the additional mod is to turn the joint around so the mirrors have a lower flatter angle. Luke/ Devilsyam sold me a set and they were a big improvement

Thats the exact thing I was thinking I could make to inprove the view, but was not sure how I would do it - very interesting that someone has done it but £40 is almost a set of R1 mirrors.
How out there can knock these out at £10 a pair for the buyer to paint.

Whats that then I dont get it, is that with the FZS OEM mirrors or the R1 ones

The ones I got from Devilsyam were just standard thou ones. The joint in the centre had been broken and turned over. Actually there must be a thread let me look

Am I the only person who likes the OEM mirrors? The FZS1000 ones look ungainly on the 6, and aren't much better.

I used them on my old VFR800.  Well made and fitted without any issues.

The stock mirrors do look better than all others, I normally fit bar end (oberon) but I have a spare pair so tried them and didn't like the look of the bike with them fitted, so then found Fuzzy's mirror mod and then thought better of it and bought some blind spot mirrors to try which another member mentioned were one of the best cheap mods he had done......so have now bought a set but haven't fitted them yet.....(side note don't buy these from Halfords as they are ripping people off to the some of £7.99 each.... :eek I took the model number and make and got a pair with free post for princely some of £3.79..... :lol)

I use them and have had no problems with them. The only issue is they don't extend the mirrors out very far, due to the angle they sit at on the fairing. They do help but I still get a small amount of shoulder in the view.
