I wondered if they limit ground clearance, clearly they do. How far over were you when they touched down?
On the track I can usually get within about 0.5 cm of tyre limit (Metzeler Z8's) have yet to grind them. Have ground pegs before these mind.
May just get myself a set then, I wonder if I could fit my spotlights to them.
Maybe a silly question but if you hadn't got yours already, would you consider ones on Ebay?
I like them because they are unobtrusive and I have "layed" the bike down once while pushing it and saved damage, I think they take the weight off the indicators and help prevent them snapping or pushing through the fairing, its stupid how much damage you can do just dropping it on the spot and the bars could save, they would be an ideal place I think to mount the spots.Here is a more front on picture - those that you are looking at fit a little higher up the frame as the top bracket is longer than my two point one which you can see on my first post picture.
