Got a box eye headlight unit sat in the garage if anyone can make use of it.
Would be ideal for a HID conversion and retaining your original headlight unit also. How does £55 posted sound? 3

Hi
I stuck it on eBay so you might get it for a song. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391779167152 Baseplate, it takes the Monokey Baseplate. Which iirc has 2 "hooks" towards the front and a sticky up bit at the rear, so the box slides onto the hooks and pushed down on the stick up bit. 4

I've only ever had noise issues at one circuit.
Assen. Considering it was a Ducati event, on track thursday through to racing sunday, noise testing thurs/fri/saturday. Sunday had no issues. EVERYONE had full race systems. Everyone was clamping empty coke cans over the exhaust to try and muffle the sound a fraction!! 9

I dont really want the hassle of parting it out.
If someone wants it at 450 they can take it. Bring a welder and happy for you to weld the nut on and have a cuppa and ride it away, or bring a van or trailer. Or risk riding it as is. Essex, 5 mins off m11 19

Had it welded up by local bike shop, lasted a couple more weeks but the weld didn't hold. Can't be bothered with it now, so she'll be up for sale.

My 90k old '99 was making the odd rattle, so today, having just shelled out on tyres, I decided to check, and look and behold, the front sprocket nut had spun loose and Stripped the shaft. (Yes it was the newer type nut).
Options? Or break the bike? It's my work horse :/ 22
FZS600 Fazer / Re: Best replacement ungraded headlight bulbs? eBay? Halfords etc...« on: 29 February 2016, 03:20:50 pm »http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,15666.0.html This kit was actually created on my bikes' headlights, a few years ago when i got in touch with RFL. i sent them a set of headlights and they used it as a template to create the kit. Its not just the projectors, but a backplate to replace the reflectors on each side as well, plus the gubbins. 23

Well it seems i am losing my training ground (works underground car-park) due to redundancy. Might have 2-3 weeks left here. On the plus side, means i dont have to worry about rolling in to work with black eyes

hahahaha Frosties - yeah, i have had it in the back of my mind about what if adrenalin & instinct makes me throw a spinning hook kick?
But i'm not as flexible or as fast as i was then, so i dont think that'll be an issue. |
