R&G Shocktube?
« on: 05 July 2016, 07:20:57 pm »
I've got to replace the spring on the rear shock, years of year-round riding have caused the powdercoating on the spring to flake off and it's starting to rot.

So, the question is: does the shocktube (or similar) provide decent protection without causing the shock to overheat or cause any other problems? I'm not keen on huggers, but it looks as though its got to be one or the other.

I've always had both hugger and shock cover on mine with no problems.

I use the Shock tube on my bike and it's great. No problems whatsoever

Thanks for the responses, guys. Looks like a Shocktube is going on soon.
