DOWNLOADS > MANUALS > FZS600 > FZS600 HAYNES MANUAL

click into the manual you want. then see the first line is the title of the manual "FZS 600 Haynes Manual 98-01". then the line below the title is the one you click to get the manual. so you click FZS 600 Haynes Manual 98-01.zip

Is it just me, or is that download both incomplete and corrupted?

There's pages missing, and the ones that are there have some jumbled text and missing photos.

The Haynes manual one. Just re-checked it using the link you posted.

Howay man! Which pages are missing and which are garbled? There's 10 chapters to look through!

I'll start off by saying that I'm not asking anyone to start re-scanning the manual.  I was just checking to see if my downloaded version is as it should be or not.
I have an original hardcopy, but wanted the soft version to view at work.  It would be nice to have a complete set to view, but I might just buy a second copy anyway.

To answer your question, it seemed to be any page/section that I wanted to look at  :lol

Specific examples are :

Daily (pre-ride) checks. These are referred to in the Routine section, but I couldn't find them.  In the book I believe they are between the Intro and Chapter 1.
Picture problems seem more common - Pages 8 and 19 of Routine are badly affected, as are many of the pictures in the Engine section.  I've not really looked through much more yet, but the problem did appear quite frequent.

noobie mechanical question here.

Will the manual for the FZS600 to 2001 be similar to the 2003 model, or is it a full re-write?
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - strawberries in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming - WOO HOO! What a Ride!"
