General / Re: what did you do with your fazer today ?

Had a great run out yesterday on the 600. Just over 210 miles total and took in some classic scenery on the Beara Penisula. If any of you are visiting Ireland this was the route from near home and back Knockalisheen, Cork to Knockalisheen, Cork - Google Maps . I did not even get to some of the other amazing bits as my destination was to see Irelands only Cable Car as I had not been there for over 20 years
Mixture of every type of road Fast smooth flowing, Tight twisty undulating and Narrow undulating. Lunch in Glengarriff, tea in Castletownbere, tea and cake in Ardgroom and coffee in Macroom.Left home at 11:30am and arrived home at 8pm. Extremely happy with my day and now only 1200miles from the magical 100000 mile mark. What a great bike, never stops amazing me with its all round capabilities.

Thanks for the eBay links b1k3r!
The one set of clocks looks tidy (I don't trust the other dealer...very bad reputation on the Warrior forum when I was a member).

The cooling fan relay is the one behind the left side cover, around £80 new! 🫣😵‍💫

Your personal body weight (with all your bike gear on), any luggage or top box, and whether you ever take passengers can obviously alter things, but when i changed mine from 10w to 15w oil for the fist time i found the difference a lot better with much more solid and predictable handling.
My large top box is at least half full most of the time though, and i'm not exactly the smallest build physically.

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Re: Gen 1 Exhaust header rear mounting bracket?

Pushing down on the rear of the seat to lift the front wheel up off the ground on the centre stand doesn’t put any load on the exhaust bracket.  Yes, they do catch all the crap and salt but I have seen some healthy ones broken, that simply need re-welded.

Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer Andreani Misano Evo Fork Cartridge Kit (98-03) £571.56  :eek Depending on the bikes condition you could buy a whole fazer for that !

I find the bike sometimes gives me an unstable feel,
is that from coming from another bike that did give you stable feel.

depending on your weight - as unfazed says all you perhaps need to do is refurb them with new oil. Most people seem to sort out the rear before or if at all touching the front.
