Front Sprocket Cover
« on: 28 June 2015, 08:34:16 pm »
Hi all
Novice here, so I thought I better ask before I charge in.
I want to take the front sprocket cover off, I see there's Allan key bolts to remove and the clutch pedal, how do you remove the clutch cable and I believe there's a gasket that may need replacing when taking the cover off ?

cheers
  :)

No gasket on mine because there's open air behind it. Just remove the gearchange pedal, undo the allen bolts and the thing swings away attached to the clutch cable. At least that's what I did.

yep no need to take off the clutch cable  just leave the cover it hanging there on the cable - you will also find that there are some locating pins too, i found that some will come away with the cover and stay in threre and some will stay in the the engine but they all should come out on there own.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
