In June last year one of our members was attacked at work leaving him with life changing injuries and unable to ever ride a motorbike again (or possibly even work again) though he still polishes his FZS600 semi-regularly. In an effort to repay the people who helped him following that attack, he is doing a 75 mile bike ride on the back of a tandem to raise some money.

Bumping this up - For those that know who i am talking about will know he is a long standing member on this site. One of the people from the original site 20 years ago who i got to meet and know as a result of this site. His attacker has recently been sentenced for attempted murder of this member, that is how serious the attack was and as a result this member is now suffering significant long term health issues so managing to do this bike ride, even on the back of a tandem, is going to be a significant challenge for him.
