What tyre pressures do you guys run on track days? I'm running on Bridgestone 023's with R1 front end and R6 shock. In my leathers I'm probably 13.5 to 14 stone. I did Silverstone a few months back and it was a chilly damp day and I never touched the pressures and never really noticed any problems, although I wasn't particularly fast either. The tyres looked pretty good afterwards too. I just wondered if any of the TD fiends drop their pressures or run at standard.
Cheers, Mickey

I see there are some manuals that can be downloaded for variuos Yamaha bikes? I'm trying to find Part numbers and Info for my Peugeot Boxer campervan. Does anyone know where I might be able to download Part Numbers and other stuff for these vans. Obviously my vehicle would be a chassis cab.
Here's hoping.

I went for a ride yesterday without my ear plugs in and one thing i noticed was how irratatingly annoying was the squeaks and rattly noises coming from my Gen 1 bodywork. Infact it's the tail piece . The whole thing sounds like it might be filled with Mice. The Infills at the front made a lot of noise and this was remedied with strips of foam. Do you guys think I should disassemble my pert rear end and put foam in between the parts prior to re-fitting? Or have you done something better?

Hypothetically thinking. If you were single and with no one else to worry about and you had £40,000 in the bank what would you do? I'm thinking maybe a massive road trip on the bike. But what bike? I have a cracking Fazer 1000 with all the Mods done that I need, it's a great bike for commuting but would it be my best choice for going around the world? Bearing in mind I don't know what types of road I'll be riding and I'm a short Arse and not the strongest of blokes for picking up a fully loaded bike. Also what would you take with you? I've been reading about loads of guys who have done similar and they have spare tyres and all kinds of stuff strapped onto their bikes. I would take a 2 man tent, plus a roll bag with some clean pants and socks but what else would be a bare minimum. What tools would be best? And also, what bike maintenance knowledge would be essential?

I'm going to California next year and want to hire a V8 Mustang or Charger for a few weeks. Have any of you Foccers had any experience or know of a good hire car company?

I had a bit of luck on my ride to work this afternoon, some poor sod dropped some ladders off his van and everyone stopped to allow him to retrieve them. I filtered to the front and once the traffic started moving again I released the full potential of the mighty Fazer 1000 on an empty motorway, it was 2 miles before I caught up with the tail end of cars. I got to work 10 minutes early. Big smiles.

Ok, who are you with and how much? Have you admitted to any mods and how much did it, if any did it go up by? I'm fed up with trolling through web pages only to say I've R1 forks and for them to say they can't quote
Thanks in advance, Mickey

For Christmas my eldest boy bought me tickets to see The Stranglers in concert, at Portsmouth Guildhall. With support from the Rezillos. What a great night. The Rezillos act was full of energy and had the crowd of 50(age not how many)something punks jumping around like loons. The Stranglers were amazing too. I didn't know much of their newer stuff but some great tunes to keep the crowds buzzing, with their old classics getting some old codgers jumping about like wizzed up teenagers. JJ was at his belligerent best on Bass and new lead singer (since 2000)Baz Warne doing a brilliant job of taking the piss out of the Southern shandy drinking bastards for calling him a Geordie twat when clearly he's from Sunderland. Dave Greenfield on Keyboards was superb with his Doors esque playing. We even had Jet Black on the drums for 4 songs(The guys 74 now) Quite simply, if you get the chance to see them, go. A 2 hour set, of some brilliant music by master musicians who play brilliantly together.

Hiya, does any foccer have any info on these bike lifts? Is it better than a full size bike lift bench like the Sealey MC365. Pro's and cons appreciated?

Anybody else listening to Front End Chatter pod cast? I've just discovered it so only on number 5. It's recorded by Simon Hargreaves and Martin Fitz-Gibbons who are both former Bike magazine journo's. Obviously the early episodes are dated as they talk about new bikes and racing but still enjoyable.
