I'm based in Gloucestershire so London is a bit of a non starter but thanks for asking.I haven't started checking around my local bike shops/fitters etc yet - will do that last once I have a feel for prices. It could be that some local outfit has a deal on some tyres they have lying around but I didn't want to have that conversation just yet.Thanks.
Hi All,Just wondering what others did for finding the best deals for tyres? I've searched through the forums and seen loads of recommendations for various makes but was wondering where people bought them from. Demon Tweeks seem to be reasonably priced, M&P seems to be expensive in comparison. Ebay, generally, seems to more expensive. Black Circles seems to have a poor selection (and more expensive). That was only with about an hours worth of searching and was wondering if you lot had some better sites to try?Cheers.
the last time I got a pair of tyres I used a place on the A10I think it was between Cambridge and ely they were the cheapest at the time by far , cheaper than buying loose tyres and then have them fitted even plus it was a ride in ride out service If I could remmebet the name I would recomend them but a lot of it is where you are and what you want , which tyres what service ect
essential rubber by the blackwall tunnel for east londoners great people and service ,, cheap prices http://www.essentialrubbertyres.co.uk/Welcome.html
@red98 there's a big bike service centre in White City that i went to years ago that mainly dealt with couriers, and they had a big selection of tyres that were very reasonable and had loads of mechanics working in there to fit them. You ride your bike inside a large warehouse type building.Dunno about now but back then there was a connection between that place and the maniac Brazilian bikers that used to do stunts at the Ace Cafe?Maybe worth a call next time, see what they've got?W12 MOTORBIKE SERVICE CENTREUNIGATE HOUSE, WOOD LANE, DEPORT ROAD, WHITE CITYW12 7RP LONDONPhone: +44 (0) 20 8743 2899
