Another sad loss

Sidecar passenger Dave Wells died in an accident at Mallory Park Sidecar Festival on Saturday.

According to a mate who was racing there at the weekend the throttle stuck open on driver Roy Hanks machine at Edwinas chicane and crashed in what was a reletively low-speed accident. Dave died of his injuries shortly afterwards.

Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Not another one.   I thought it was just road racing where fatalities were/are a regular occurence, but now it seems to be everywhere.    I feel sick everytime I hear of a racing death,  as I'm a race watching addict.
