Temporary Insurance?
« on: 22 May 2013, 08:03:21 pm »
Does anybody know of any decent temporary insurers out there? Cant seem to find any, the ones that do show up on google dont actually provide the facility to quote!

A group of us have a ride out planned but my mate has just had his cbr600f nicked from outside his house - he's gutted of course! I said id lend him my FZS600 but its currently uninsured so was hoping we could do a 2 day cover from someone but im not having any luck :(

There is temporary insurance, but there may be a minimum period required. Try Aviva.

No motorbike temporary insurers that I know of. There was one, but they closed down recently.

full policy and cancel it?
My brother did this because he thought his insurance ran out sooner than it did, after the refund it cost less than temp insurance.

That was with MCE, he did have to pay admin fee, but it still worked out cheaper :)
