Carb balancing/Good samaritan
« on: 12 September 2016, 03:26:48 pm »
Hi there,
Is there anyone about in the Wakefield/Leeds area that might be able to help out with balancing my carbs? I don't have the tools to do it myself (or any idea how to for that matter) and I don't have the budget for the garage right now but from all I've read here it could may well be the solution to my general lumpiness. Thought it had to be worth a try, if I didn't ask I'd never know. (There's a cat in a box somewhere thinks I'm a fool)
Cheers.
Chris

Make sure you have a clean or unclogged air filter before doing it, it can make a difference in the results if the bike's not breathing properly.  :thumbup

I've just changed air filter, plugs and TPS unfortunately to no avail. It sorts it out for a while but then back problems.

Balancing will help without a doubt, so you've done all the right things and are half way there.
