Looking at some video (post crash) there was very little run off and no gravel trap, lad didn't stand a chance

Apology re the air fence, further reading suggests it was his bike that he hit which caused his injuries

Was good to see Rossi and Marc shake hands at the end of the race

Always sad to see any racer lose his life, :( only positive was that it put the childish antics of the MotoGP boys into perspective. Now if we can get a few more to come to their senses, realise how easy it is to have everything wiped out and let their racing do the talking :tape
