Sanding Forks and maybe painting
« on: 19 June 2013, 09:24:46 pm »
Hi, so lately I have been thinking about sanding down the bottom part of my forks and either spraying them silver or just keeping it brushed aluminium as they're quite flakey.
Has anyone had a go at this and got any tips?
would you remove the forks to do this or just remove the wheel and mudguard?

Thanks, Dan

Remove forks, paint stripper, wet 'n' dry down, primer, silver spray, lacquer, sorted  :)

did my forks with satin black hamerite smooth ( spray)  - came out good and are easy to keep looking good.
